A statewide AMBER Alert has been activated for two missing children from California who disappeared on Wednesday.
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children reports that Romeo Ordonez, age 13, and Sofia Ordonez, age 9, were last observed around 1:30 p.m. in the Santa Clarita area.

Authorities suspect the children may be with Crystal Ordonez, 45. The exact nature of her connection to the children remains unclear at this time.
Crystal Ordonez is believed to be driving a black 2018 Kia Sorento, bearing the California license plate 8LRF237. She is described as approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 135 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Sofia is approximately 4 feet tall and weighs around 70 pounds, while Romeo stands about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. Both children have brown hair and brown eyes.
