Minneapolis anti-ICE protesters throw sex toys at their own people

In a surprising turn of events, Minneapolis anti-ICE protesters targeted one of their own with an unusual barrage of dildos, just days after President Donald Trump withdrew hundreds of federal officers from the city.

A lively crowd assembled outside the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building on Saturday, marking a month since Renee Good was injured in an altercation with federal agents.

Protesters vocally opposed ICE, resorting to throwing glass bottles and sex toys at the guards stationed to protect the building.

However, the protesters’ aim took an unexpected turn when their unconventional tactics were directed at a fellow demonstrator.

A video captured the moment a group of protestors launched fake penises at a man driving a dark blue pick-up truck near the federal building.

Amid the turmoil, the driver shouted at the persistent dildo-throwers, demanding, “Do you see my f***ing sign?”

He was referring to a large banner in the vehicle’s bed that read ‘NUREMBERG 2.0.’ The term is a likely reference to the Nuremberg Trials after World War II.

From 1945 to 1949, the Allied powers prosecuted German Nazi officials for war crimes, crimes against peace and crimes against humanity.

But his initial plea for the protesters to stop targeting him was virtually useless.

He then pulled out a sign reading ‘WE ALL HAVE EYES’ and showed the angry protesters through his driver’s-side window.

‘Guys, guys!’ one of the demonstrators – seemingly coming to the mortifying realization that they lost the plot – yelled as others ran up to the truck and stuck dildos on its hood. ‘Why are you guys doing that?’

Regardless, the crowd clearly did not get the hint. One protester ripped the sign from the driver’s hands as the bizarre attack continued.

‘I’m on your f*cking side!’ he screamed.

Finally, the chaos appeared to subside as a man from the mob pointed at the ‘NUREMBERG 2.0’ sign.

The Saturday protest quickly got out of hand, according to the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO).

A spokesperson told the Daily Mail on Sunday that 50 people were arrested from the hectic scene – 47 of them were cited and released for unlawful assembly, while seven others were booked into the county jail.

‘While many individuals are peacefully protesting, some agitators have engaged in unlawful behavior, including damaging property and throwing ice chunks,’ the HCSO said in a statement shared on Facebook.

‘A deputy was struck in the head and a squad vehicle windshield was broken. This is not the first time our vehicles have been damaged at this location.’

The sheriff’s office said it called upon mobile response team members from the Minnesota State Patrol and the Department of Natural Resources (DNR).

‘An unlawful assembly has been declared, and dispersal orders have been issued. Individuals must leave the area immediately. Failure to comply will result in enforcement action,’ the statement reads.

The Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) arrested three people at a separate protest on Saturday.

In recent weeks, chucking dildos at federal law enforcement officers has become an increasingly popular tactic of taunting them.

Saturday’s demonstration was supposed to honor 37-year-olds Good and Alex Pretti.

They were both fatally shot during separate encounters with ICE agents in Minneapolis. Good died on January 7 and Pretti died on January 24.

White House ‘border czar’ Tom Homan speaks during a press conference at the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Wednesday

Trump told NBC News on Wednesday that his administration could ‘use a little bit of a softer touch’ in Minneapolis.

‘But you still have to be tough,’ he added.

White House border czar Tom Homan announced on the same day that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) would be removing 700 personnel from the city ‘effective immediately.’

Homan said that roughly 2,000 federal agents remain in Minneapolis as part of the ongoing Operation Metro Surge.

‘My goal, with the support of President Trump, is to achieve a complete drawdown,’ he said, noting that this total removal will happen ‘as soon as we can.’

‘But that is largely contingent upon the end of the illegal and threatening activities against ICE and its federal partners that we’re seeing in the community.’
