Bay Area Meteorologist Spencer Christian Reveals Shocking Reason for Recent Disappearance

His unexpected departure left viewers puzzled and concerned about the fate of the familiar face they were accustomed to seeing.

Over the weekend, Christian addressed his fans directly through a heartfelt update on Facebook.

“On February 9, I underwent open-heart surgery to repair my mitral and tricuspid valves, address arrhythmia, and have a pacemaker installed. After spending six days in the hospital, I was released and am currently recovering at home,” he shared.

He assured his fans that, barring any complications, they could look forward to his return to the airwaves in April.

“My strength, energy, and appetite are improving slowly but surely; and the next 2 to 3 weeks are expected to bring more rapid gains. In fact, I am already doing light-to-moderate exercises at home to rebuild my strength, stamina, and flexibility,” Christian explained, adding that he is very grateful to his colleagues, family, and friends.

“I have never felt more loved, or more blessed than you have made me feel with your heartwarming expressions of love, concern, and well wishes.”
