WASHINGTON — As President Trump readies himself for a visit to Kentucky, he launched a fierce attack on one of his main Republican critics in Congress, Rep. Thomas Massie, labeling him as the worst Republican ever to serve in Congress.

On Truth Social, Trump predicted, “I foresee ‘Representative’ Thomas Massie being remembered as the WORST Republican Congressman in the storied history of the United States Congress.”

Trump further criticized Massie, comparing him unfavorably to other Republicans he has clashed with, saying, “Even worse than Crazy Liz Chaney [sic], Cryin’ Adam Kinzinger, and Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown. Remember, Green turns to Brown under stress! They’re all misfits and losers, but Massie, who faces a great American Patriot in the Kentucky Primary, will hopefully lose BIG.”

Massie, representing Kentucky, has not hesitated to challenge Trump on significant votes. He has notably opposed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and several government funding measures, while advocating for the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

With the House GOP holding a fragile majority, Massie’s dissent on pivotal partisan votes has frustrated Republican leadership, establishing him as a significant obstacle for Trump in Congress.

In a bid to unseat Massie, Trump’s trusted advisors, Chris LaCivita and Tony Fabrizio, have initiated the Kentucky MAGA Super PAC, solely focused on defeating Massie in the upcoming primary on May 19.

The president and his allies have thrown their weight behind former Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein in his primary campaign against Massie.

Massie, who is backed by Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), another pol in Trump’s crosshairs, has attempted to fundraise off Trump’s broadsides.

“I predict ‘President’ DJT will begrudgingly sign my beautiful Epstein Files Transparency Act, causing beleaguered princes and ambassadors and prime ministers and CEOs around the world to be arrested or resign in total shame,” he shot back on X Wednesday with a fundraising link.

“Oh wait, that already happened.”

Trump will jet over to Massie’s home turf later in the day on Wednesday, visiting a packaging facility in Hebron, Kentucky, before holding another event in the greater Cincinnati area in Ohio.

Massie won’t be there during Trump’s visit, as he has a “previously scheduled official event,” according to his campaign.

“You can have differences, but you have to be constructive.  He is not constructive. In fact, he’s the Democrats’ favorite member,” a senior administration official previously told The Post about Massie.

GOP leadership, including House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), has also conveyed frustrations with Massie. On some tough votes, the GOP whip team assumes it won’t be able to win him over.
