The Conversation Trump Just Had About Kharg Island Blows Up the Liberal Media Narrative

This week, a narrative emerged from some media outlets suggesting that the Trump administration lacked a contingency plan if Iran decided to block the Strait of Hormuz. This assertion was quickly refuted by influential figures such as Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Tom Cotton (R-AR).

The media’s portrayal implied that neither Trump nor his advisors had considered this strategic scenario. However, this claim is part of a broader series of inaccurate reports about Iran and terrorism that have surfaced recently.

Observing President Trump’s approach, it’s evident that he thoroughly considers various scenarios, often well in advance. An insightful discussion aired on Friday, featuring Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade, highlighted this point. The interview, conducted before the attack on Kharg Island, included a question to Trump about whether he intended to take military action against the island, referencing his statements from 1988.

In a significant diplomatic development, the United States and Venezuela have restored relations, marking a major breakthrough.

Given the current state of the military under Trump’s administration, any necessary deployment of naval forces in the Strait of Hormuz would be conducted with enhanced safety measures, although inherent risks remain. If the Iranian regime is successfully deterred, it would contribute to greater security both nationally and globally.

Editor’s Note: For years, previous administrations have struggled to take decisive action against Iran. Now, President Trump is actively working to neutralize this threat, aiming to ensure long-term safety.
