Justin Vancott Harnish, a 29-year-old resident of St. Cloud, Florida, is facing serious legal repercussions after being federally indicted for allegedly trafficking a minor at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in Antarctica. According to a recent release from the Department of Justice (DOJ), Harnish could be sentenced to life imprisonment if found guilty of these charges.
The indictment claims that between February 28 and March 28, 2025, Harnish engaged in criminal activity by soliciting a minor for a “commercial sex act” while stationed at the remote Antarctic research facility.
