Quadruple amputee cornholer Dayton Webber had an 'angry dark side': Report

The world of professional cornhole was rocked by a shocking incident involving a top player who is a quadruple amputee. Dayton Webber has been accused of murdering a friend and disposing of the body, a revelation that his former girlfriend claims aligns with his troubled past.

In an interview with TMZ, Tori Mattingly, Webber’s ex-girlfriend, described his volatile nature, revealing that he often “lashed out” and was unwilling to seek therapy to address his anger management problems.

Mattingly, who was in a relationship with the 27-year-old leisure sport competitor for four years until their separation in February 2025, expressed that she wasn’t surprised by the murder allegations against him, according to the media outlet.

Interestingly, Mattingly later dated Brad Wells, the alleged victim, after her breakup with Webber. However, as reported by TMZ, their romantic involvement ended a few months later, and they chose to remain just friends.

She asserted there was no overlap in her dating timeline with Webber and Wells, claiming their romance ended in June 2025. Mattingly also emphasized that Webber was fully aware of her brief relationship with Wells and the subsequent friendship that followed, according to the report.

She claimed Webber was aware of that short-lived romance and also knew she and Wells had remained friends, the report stated.

Webber was arrested March 22 for allegedly shooting Wells during a late night joyride in a Tesla SUV in Maryland, then dumping his body and fleeing to Virginia, authorities said.

The American Cornhole League pro is alleged to have been driving the car with Wells in the passenger seat and two other friends in the back when an argument escalated and ended in gunfire, according to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office.

The two other passengers fled the car after Webber asked for help in removing Wells body from the passenger seat, authorities alleged.

Despite having his arms amputated to the elbows, Webber was able to deftly operate a handgun, according to a video he shared to his YouTube channel.

A bacterial infection at the age of 10 months forced doctors to amputate all four of Webber’s limbs to give him a chance to survive.

Webber’s next court hearing is scheduled for April 23, according to CBS19.
