$75 souvenir Ohtani cup comes with new perks after eye-watering price revealed

Dodgers fans, it’s time to raise your cups—literally. The souvenir cup debacle at Dodger Stadium has taken a welcome turn. Initially priced at a staggering $74.99, the Shohei Ohtani commemorative cup now offers a more palatable price of $68.99 and comes with unlimited refills.

The original offer was met with dismay as fans learned that the expensive cup included free refills only on the day it was bought. The sharp backlash from the fanbase prompted a rethink, leading to a new policy that allows for unlimited soda refills throughout the current season.

Adding to the confusion, on Saturday, sports commentator Darren Rovell showcased a concession stand sign on social media. It promised “fountain soda refills during the 2026 season,” leaving fans scratching their heads about what exactly was on offer.

The Post can reveal that the new price will remain — and that even more members of the Boys in Blue will be featured in the cup lineup.

Dodger fans Angel Yanez, 41, and his 18-year-old son told The Post they didn’t mind ponying up for the collectible.

“It makes more sense through the year, we are season pass holders,” said Yanez, who plans to attend every home game with his son this season.

“We’re going to utilize the cups every time we are here.”
