Reality TV stars share footage of Hollywood road rage attack

Reality TV Personalities Release Exclusive Footage of Hollywood Road Rage Incident

Two reality TV stars are recounting a harrowing road rage incident they experienced in Hollywood, a confrontation they say was recorded on video during the day.

The unsettling event took place on the morning of March 29 at the bustling intersection of Melrose Avenue and Vine Street.

Pol Atteu and Patrick Simpson, the married duo behind the Amazon Prime show “Gown and Out in Beverly Hills,” shared that the encounter ranks among the most terrifying experiences of their lives.

“I’m not sure if he recognized us, but it was bizarre,” Atteu explained. “This vehicle suddenly stops in front of us, parks diagonally, trapping us, and the driver starts attacking our car. It was incomprehensible.”

Footage from the scene shows a man in a Toyota 4Runner unexpectedly halting to block the couple’s Mercedes-Benz at a red light. The man then exits his SUV and approaches their car, appearing to act aggressively.

“Experiencing such terrifying road rage in Los Angeles at 9:20 in the morning was shocking,” Atteu recounted to KTLA. “He struck the window with incredible force.”

Simpson said the situation escalated so quickly that he immediately feared for their safety, urging his husband to secure the car.

“I’m telling him, ‘Lock the car, lock the car,’ because we couldn’t move,” he said.

The couple said they had no prior interaction with the driver and were blindsided by the sudden aggression. They insist they did nothing to provoke the outburst.

“This is it, I’m going to die here,” he recalled thinking. “I’ve never been faced with that kind of fear in my life on the streets of L.A.,” one of them told KTLA recalling the incident.

The footage shows the suspect striking and kicking the vehicle before eventually retreating to his SUV and speeding off. Rather than disengage, the couple said they followed the driver while calling 911 to report the incident.

What happened next only added to their alarm.

“He ran every stop sign, every red light and drove so erratically,” Atteu said. “There were kids in the car. I thought, ‘You’re on something.’”

The couple has since shared the video publicly, hoping it brings attention to what they describe as a growing problem of unpredictable and violent behavior on Los Angeles streets.

It remains unclear whether the suspect has been identified or taken into custody.
