A terrifying incident at a bustling Spanish fair has left four people injured, including two children, when a slingshot ride malfunctioned midair. The unsettling scene was captured on video and quickly spread across social media platforms.
The accident occurred at the Feria de Abril in Seville on Friday evening. According to authorities, a cable on the Steel Max ride, known for its bungee-style thrills, unexpectedly snapped, sending shockwaves through the festive atmosphere.
In the dramatic footage, the ride’s capsule is seen being launched approximately 300 feet into the sky. Just moments later, the cable gave way, leaving the capsule to plummet downward, ultimately crashing into the ride’s steel framework.
As the sequence of events unfolded, horrified spectators could be heard screaming, their panic palpable amid the chaos. Local media confirmed that two children were among those riding the attraction at the time of the mishap, both sustaining injuries.
