Authorities in West Virginia have reported that a man from Elkins persistently dialed 911 to report an unusual combination of supernatural and extraterrestrial visitors at his home.
The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office stated that 33-year-old Clinton Wayne Nelan has been taken into custody on charges of misusing an emergency phone system and pretending to be a police officer. His arrest took place on Sunday.
In response to the odd calls, four deputies arrived at Nelan’s home after he made multiple 911 calls claiming the presence of zombies, ghosts, and an unidentified flying object.
“Upon reaching the location, Mr. Nelan made several untrue assertions, including that he was being targeted by numerous people and falsely claimed to be a police officer from Louisiana,” the sheriff’s office reported.

Investigations revealed that Nelan was not affiliated with any law enforcement agency and had misused emergency services to file these false claims, according to the police.
Nelan has been taken into custody and is being held at the Tygart Valley Regional Jail with a bond set at $2,500, as per online jail records.
