Manhunt targets ‘armed and dangerous’ murder suspect now on state’s most wanted list

Authorities are actively searching for a murder suspect who has been evading capture since Wednesday.

The fugitive, identified as 38-year-old Jesse Phillips, is accused of fatally shooting a man in the chest in Pickett County, Tennessee. Following the alleged incident, Phillips reportedly fled the scene in his vehicle, potentially crossing state boundaries.

Law enforcement in Clinton County, Kentucky, located Phillips’ vehicle—described as a black pickup truck with a distinctive yellow hood—at a residence on Norman Cole Road in Albany.

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the discovery of Phillips’ truck in Albany, Kentucky, at a local home.

Phillips is characterized as a White male with brown hair and eyes. He stands approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs around 225 pounds.

Due to the severity of the case, Phillips has been placed on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Most Wanted List. Authorities are offering a reward for any information that could lead to his apprehension.
