A recent high school graduate from Alabama lost her life in a tragic car accident while on her way to attend college orientation.
The 18-year-old was traveling early Tuesday morning on Interstate 65 near Bay Minette. She was en route to the university to meet her new roommates and see her dormitory for the first time when her vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree, according to police reports.
“A single-vehicle accident at approximately 4:45 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, resulted in the death of a teenager from Mobile,” an Alabama Law Enforcement Agency spokesperson informed the Daily Mail.

As the investigation by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division continues, no further details of the accident have been released.
In an interview with Fox10, the grieving mother, Kristin Carroll, expressed her sorrow, saying, “She had so many plans and dreams she wanted to pursue.”
