In mid-May, RedState shared a heart-wrenching story from California involving an elderly supporter of Donald Trump who was viciously assaulted outside his home in Escondido. This residence, often referred to locally as the “Trump House,” was easily identifiable by its numerous Trump signs and American flags adorning the exterior.
Images reveal the drastic change in appearance of the homeowner, 69-year-old Kerry Sheron, who was described in reports as a United States Army veteran, before and after the brutal incident.
While Mr. Sheron fought for his life in the intensive care unit, his wife, Maria Garcia, shared a grim update, indicating there was “no hope” for his recovery. Tragically, her prediction came true when Mr. Sheron succumbed to his injuries four days following the attack.

The update his wife, Maria Garcia, provided as her husband was in the ICU was that there was “no hope,” that Mr. Sheron was not expected to survive. Sadly, she was right. Mr. Sheron died four days later from injuries he sustained in the violent attack.
