Two Detroit sisters — one of whom was nine months pregnant at the time — are accused of attacking a worker at a local chicken restaurant after a dispute over a wrong order, according to prosecutors. Investigators allege one of the women stabbed the employee while both sisters also tried to hurl hot grease, pans and other objects at her.
Brianna Long and Kierianna Long have each been charged in connection with the May 30 incident. The charges include assault with intent to murder, assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, and assault with a dangerous weapon, according to local reports. Both women have entered not guilty pleas.
Prosecutors say the sisters went behind the counter and confronted a 23-year-old restaurant employee after receiving the incorrect order. The encounter quickly escalated into a violent attack, authorities said.
According to prosecutors, the women threw objects at the employee, chased her through the restaurant, and struck her with pots and pans. They also allegedly attempted to pour hot grease on her head and threatened to kill her during the assault.
