A deadly crash brought traffic to a standstill Saturday morning in Irwindale after a semitruck lost control on the 210 Freeway, crossed the center divider and collided with several vehicles. Authorities said one woman was killed and dozens of people were injured in the violent chain-reaction wreck.
Dashcam video obtained by ABC shows the moments leading up to the crash near Irwindale.
In the footage, the big rig appears to drift onto the right shoulder before suddenly veering across the freeway, plowing over the median and into traffic traveling the opposite direction.
The truck later jackknifed, forcing lane closures in both directions and leaving a wide stretch of freeway littered with damaged vehicles and debris.
