Heidi Montag is pressing ahead with her long-held pop star ambitions after husband Spencer Pratt’s unexpected defeat in the Los Angeles mayoral race.
Montag, 39, commanded attention over the weekend at Canada’s Neon Skies music festival, taking the stage in a daring, high-cut leotard.
The mother of two, who appeared on the lineup alongside Kesha and Slayyyter, thrilled the crowd as she powered through viral favorites including I’ll Do It, Fashion and Prototype.
Her bold hot pink outfit left little to the imagination, featuring a chest cut-out and a G-string-style back that came close to sparking a wardrobe mishap during the energetic performance.
Looking back on the concert in an Instagram post, The Hills alum wrote: ‘What an incredible show! Thank you to everyone who showed up and showed so much love!’
She continued, ‘It was an honor to perform on the same stage as the phenomenal Slayyyter! Thank you @neonskiesfestival! Dreams come true!’

Montag recently released her third studio album, Masterpiece, following the release of last year’s Heidiwood.
While the album has won praise from fans, it’s raised some eyebrows for its explicit lyrics.
In Summer Love, Montag sings: ‘You’ve been going down all day, huh?’ and, ‘I go down easy, and you can’t get enough.’
On the raunchy song Splash, she sings: ‘Feel the bass, like the taste / Put me in a chokehold, spit on my face.’
‘Get the cuffs, I’m a s**t / Hitting high notes, like Mariah does,’ she states elsewhere.
On the title track Masterpiece, Montag croons: ‘Up against the wall like I’m a masterpiecе’ and referenced a sex position by singing, ‘I’m your night nurse / Or your cowgirl in reverse.’
And on the jaw-dropping Pretty, Montag sings: ”Wanna break the window with my body up against it / Wanna wake the neighbors, make ’em mad, make ’em jealous.’
‘F*** me by the mirror, wanna see your point of view,’ she adds.

Montag started teasing the album back in January on her podcast The Fame Game.
‘I think the biggest difference with this album is Heidiwood was more hyper-pop and this is a little bit more mainstream,’ she explained.
‘It’s kind of an in-between bridge of Superficial, my first album, and Heidiwood.’
Montag’s early music had a surge in streams last year amid the tragic loss of her house in the LA fires.
Montag and Pratt’s $2.5 million Pacific Palisades home was among the more than 5,000 structures that burned to ash in the deadly blaze January 2025.

Capitalizing on the momentum last year, Montag surprised fans with the release of her sophomore album Heidiwood, which reached the top ten on iTunes.
This year she’s dropped multiple singles – including Step On The Gas, Supermodel, and Icon.
While Montag has focused on her music career, Pratt has made a pivot into politics.
After losing the Los Angeles mayoral race last month, the 42-year-old has become a popular political influencer focused on fighting California corruption and the rise of communism.
