The Princess of Wales has been named Tatler’s “Best Dressed in Britain” for the year, earning the top honour on the magazine’s annual style list.
Kate, 44, has long been admired for her polished, timeless wardrobe, making her selection by the society magazine little surprise. Tatler singled out standout recent looks including her sunny yellow Roksanda outfit at Ascot and a sleek Blazé Milano blazer worn during her tour of Italy.
The publication’s latest ranking of Britain’s most stylish figures also featured former Labour MP Sir Tristram Hunt, now director of the V&A, with particular attention paid to the Schiaparelli dove brooch he wore at an event earlier this year.
Taking second place was NHS TV doctor Dr Raj Arora, who has built a following of 69,000 on social media with a blend of medical insight, elegance and glamour.
She was followed by British track and field athlete Temi Ojora, 24, who also founded the braiding company KNOTT Hair. Ojora recently drew praise on Instagram after posing in Rome in a dramatic green gown.
Actor Edward Bluemel, 33, claimed fourth place. He is best known for appearances in Amazon’s My Lady Jane, the BBC’s We Might Regret This and Netflix’s Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials.
Bluemel has also been making an impression beyond the screen, stepping out in sharp tailoring at recent high-profile events. His looks have included a custom Edward Sexton suit at Wimbledon, while on the red carpet he has been seen wearing Dior.

Director and the late Princess Diana’s friend Jemima Khan, 52, was dubbed an ‘original It-Girl’ and is often spotted wearing glamorous silhouettes.
In October, she stunned in a monochrome velvet dress at the Albie Awards – and a few months prior, had turned heads in a playful printed dress from Cala de la Cruz.
Valentina Paloma Pinault – daughter of actress Salma Hayek and billionaire heir Francois-Henri Pinault – is only 18, but is already emerging as a style star as she featured on Tatler’s list.
Just a few months ago, she and her mother were sleek as ever at the Serpentine Summer Party.
Beating the London heat, Valentina was elegant in a breezy black co-ord made up of a halter neck top and skirt.

The final entry to the top ten was Bridgerton star Hannah Dodd, 31, who is the main protagonist of the show’s next highly anticipated season, which will feature its first lead LGBT romance.
While she stuns in regency ensembles on the series, Hannah is just as known for her style off-screen.

It is not Kate’s first time being dubbed ‘best dressed’ – she also took top spot on Tatler’s list in 2022.

Ranked seventh on the ten-person preview, Zara appeared alongside fashionable figures, including Princess Alexia of the Netherlands.
The publication praised Zara by saying: ‘Riding with polish and dressing with panache, Princess Anne’s daughter is a vision on and off the horse.’
Meanwhile, in 2024 Princess Beatrice topped the prestigious poll – 13 years after she was mocked for her ‘pretzel’ hat at William and Kate’s wedding.
In 2018, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex was the winner, and Lady Eliza Spencer and her sister Amelia were crowned the joint best dressed in 2021.
Annabel Elliot, Queen Camilla’s sister, was fifth on the list in 2025, whilst the late Queen Elizabeth placed 27th in 2018.
As for Lady Amelia Windsor, the granddaughter of the Duke of Kent, she placed 21st in 2018, second in 2019 and 12th in 2021.
