Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are keeping their European getaway in full summer mode. The 41-year-old pop superstar and the 54-year-old former Canadian prime minister were photographed Wednesday enjoying a boat outing in Greece, where they appeared relaxed, affectionate and coordinated in breezy light-blue ensembles. Perry wore a patterned bandeau top with matching shorts that showed off her midriff, while Trudeau matched the vacation mood in a linen button-up shirt and cuffed light-wash jeans. The couple, who have reportedly been together for a year, looked especially close during the outing, with Perry seen staying physically affectionate with Trudeau throughout the day. Their sun-soaked appearance comes after they made their red carpet debut earlier this summer at the 25th Annual Tribeca Festival for the premiere of the concert film Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris. At the event, Perry opened up to People about her romance, saying, “I feel like a more grounded person in so many aspects of my life.
“I am very in love. And actually, that show was after I met the love of my life and so I felt very anchored by that because I’m a little bit like a rainbow kite,” she added. Perry and Trudeau were first linked romantically in July 2025 and later made their relationship Instagram official in December. Earlier that year, Perry confirmed her split from fiancé Orlando Bloom following months of speculation about the status of their relationship. The former couple share daughter Daisy Dove Bloom, who was born in 2020 and will turn six later this month. Bloom is also father to 15-year-old son Flynn, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
Perry and Bloom, who vacationed amicably last summer with Daisy and Flynn, first began dating in 2016 and became engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2019. After news of their breakup emerged last year, representatives for the pair told the Daily Mail that they had “been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting.” The insiders added, “They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is – and always will be – raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.” Trudeau, meanwhile, served as Canada’s prime minister from 2015 until March 2025. He announced his separation from Sophie Grégoire Trudeau in 2023 after 18 years of marriage. The former couple share three children: Xavier, 18, Ella-Grace, 17, and Hadrien, 12.
Trudeau’s eldest son, Xavier, has already signaled support for his father’s high-profile relationship with Perry. The aspiring musician said earlier this year that the Grammy-nominated singer has offered him feedback on his own music, and that he sometimes sends her songs when he feels especially proud of them. Speaking on the Can’t Be Censored podcast, Xavier said, “When I’m really happy with a song I send it to her. She’s always happy to give me advice or tell me what I should change. She’s super nice. She’s super down to earth. She’s great. I think that my dad’s happy so that’s important.”
