Fenix Flexin No Longer Denies Using AI to Create Rubberz

Responding on Instagram to a user who noted that Tyga had acknowledged using AI on his own disputed, ’80s-inspired album $tarface, Fenix clarified his position in the comments.

He said he never denied using AI, only that it was not part of the actual recording process. According to Fenix, he was not even aware of the app in question until after the track had been mixed and listeners began bringing it up online. He also defended artificial intelligence in music, arguing that there is nothing wrong with artists using emerging technology as a creative tool and warning that those who refuse to adapt risk falling behind.

Since the song’s release, however, Fenix has repeatedly tried to shut down AI accusations in public. He and his team have shared what they described as footage from the recording session files, responded directly to critics in comment sections, and insisted the track was created by two people recording in his living room using “Pro Tools, Auto-Tune and some reverb.” They have also maintained that he is genuinely singing in clips where some viewers believed he appeared to be lip-syncing.
