A man suspected of fatally shooting a customer during a Bronx deli robbery is also being sought in a separate deadly shooting in Brooklyn that occurred two days earlier, police said.
The NYPD identified the suspect as 31-year-old Jesus Acosta, who investigators say is wanted in connection with two fatal shootings that took place just days apart in New York City, police told News Outlet.
The most recent incident unfolded at about 12:16 a.m. Tuesday inside 149 Grill & Deli at 143 East 149th Street in the Bronx. Police said a gunman approached a 33-year-old man and fired several shots, striking him multiple times in the chest, according to authorities and FOX 5 New York.

Following the shooting, the suspect forced his way behind the counter, took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register area and ran from the store, police said.
The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he was initially reported to be in stable condition. He later died from his injuries on Tuesday, and police reclassified the investigation as a homicide.
Authorities said Acosta is also wanted in a shooting that occurred shortly after midnight Sunday inside 842 Rockaway Ave. in Brooklyn, where a 44-year-old man was killed and another man was injured.
The New York Post reported that the Brooklyn location is American Best Wings & Pizza.

Both men were taken to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where the 44-year-old was pronounced dead. The 39-year-old man was listed in stable condition, according to police.
