Meghan, Harry and the children enjoy country British life in new video

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have offered a glimpse of relaxed family life in the British countryside, sharing a new Instagram video featuring muddy puddles, woodland walks and time outdoors with their children.

In one scene, the couple strolls through the woods in Wellington boots. Meghan turns toward the camera—apparently being held by one of the children—and calls out, “Come on, you!”

Princess Lilibet, 5, is shown sitting near a fire and warming her bare feet while humming happily. Moments later, a pair of muddy wellies believed to belong to 7-year-old Archie splashes through a puddle.

The footage then shows Lilibet riding a pink, tassel-adorned bicycle through a park. A doll sits in the rear chair as she cycles toward a small group of deer crossing the track.

“Archie!” Harry calls as his son runs into view wearing a pink shirt and blue Wellington boots.

The family’s Labrador, Pula, races along a separate woodland path bordered by ferns and trees as Wham!’s upbeat hit “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go” plays over the footage.

Meghan and Harry are shown walking in wellingtons through the woods, with Meghan beckoning to the camera, presumably held by one of the children, and saying 'Come on, you!'

Next is a family fishing trip accompanied by their Labrador Pula. 'I got this', says Archie in what appears to be an American accent

The family later enjoys a fishing trip with their Labrador, Pula. “I got this,” Archie says, appearing to speak with an American accent.

In the following shot, the family sits together in a rowboat on a still, reflective lake. Harry adjusts a hook on a fishing rod while Pula plays along the shoreline.

As fish can be seen moving through the water, Archie’s voice is heard saying, “I got this,” with what sounds like a distinctly American accent.

Posted to Meghan’s Instagram account, the video carries a Union Flag emoji beside a heart emoji throughout, rather than a written caption.

The couple has recently said they are ‘happy to be back’ in the UK, and Archie is believed to have started at school already.

This is in spite of their swirling row with Buckingham Palace over Uganda’s withdrawal from the Invictus Games.

Insiders close to the couple say that their exit was a ‘direct result’ of a letter written by King Charles, which insisted they are ‘private citizens’.

Charles’s letter made it clear that while the family was back in the country, they were not back in the Firm.

There had been talks that they would have a ‘half in, half out’ arrangement on their return, but it appears that this will not be the case.

However, Harry and Meghan’s autumn diary still appears to be heavily laden. Harry is due to have a pseudo-royal appearance at the inaugural ‘Invictus Spirit’ Awards on Thursday, September 17.

There is even chatter that the duchess could join him at this glitzy event.

It has caused a major clash in the royal calendar with William and Catherine’s ‘royal away-day’ visit to the Isle of Bute on the same day, announced on Friday.

The King has a major public engagement at the same time, as it was announced that he would attend a meeting with global AI chiefs in hopes that it could be developed for ‘the good of humanity’.

Other engagements for Harry this month include the launch of the Invictus education programme INSPIRE. Afterwards, there’s the WellChild Awards in London on September 21, a charity for ill children and their families, which the prince has been involved with since his earliest days as a working royal.
