Aaron Rodgers’ former partner Mallory Edens appears to have taken a pointed swipe at the NFL quarterback after he made controversial remarks about his past relationships.
After a string of high-profile romances, the Pittsburgh Steelers star revealed last year that he had secretly married a woman named Brittani.
The private marriage followed Rodgers’ public relationships with racing driver Danica Patrick, Edens and actress Shailene Woodley, to whom he was engaged before they separated in early 2022.
However, during a recent podcast interview, Rodgers criticized Patrick and Woodley, saying he had been “emotionally unavailable” throughout the “seven or eight years” between first meeting Brittani and later rekindling their relationship.
On Tuesday, Edens — the daughter of Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wes Edens — appeared to respond in a social media post.
“My ex is currently on a press tour talking about how he never loved anyone he dated after 2017,” she wrote, without naming Rodgers. “Unfortunately for him, I am also on a press tour, for a movie inspired by how down bad I was. Really exciting time for competing narratives!!”

Edens is currently promoting Charlie Harper, a romantic film she helped produce that is scheduled to arrive in theaters later this week.
Rodgers made his comments during an appearance on Not Just Football with Cam Heyward, the podcast hosted by his Steelers teammate.
“I met my wife in 2017… at the time, she was leaving the States and going back to Europe, and my biggest regret is not begging her to stay or just proposing right there,” he said. “I knew I was supposed to be with this one person, but we were separated by an ocean for a lot of it.”
Rodgers continued: “That sent me into a tailspin… I was emotionally unavailable for those seven or eight years because I’d met the person who was going to change my life.”
Rodgers and Woodley began dating in 2020, and the quarterback proposed in December 2021. Their engagement ended just three months later. Rodgers has recently claimed that Woodley wanted to sleep with another man before they married.
When TMZ asked Woodley about the remarks as she arrived at a pre-Emmy Awards gala in Los Angeles, she simply laughed and walked away without commenting.
Patrick and Rodgers began dating in January 2018 and made their red-carpet debut at that year’s ESPY Awards. They ended their relationship in July 2020 after more than two years together.
Speaking on the “Not Just Football” podcast, Rodgers also responded to Patrick’s claim in a previous interview that he had been a “monster partner.”
“No one cares what they have to say until they say my name,” Rodgers said. “I dated two women who nobody gives a f*** about unless they drop my name — and they like to tell their version of the history of what actually happened.

“So I’m this monster of a partner and it’s just f***ing horses***. No. 1: Why are you still talking about me? It’s been years.
“I dated Danica. She had just retired [in November 2017]. She was depressed and not fun to be around. But I didn’t leave her because I was trying to be there and be a good partner. Then things started moving in a certain direction, obviously. There was no intimacy; there was nothing.”
