A Frontier Airlines passenger appeared to try to open an aircraft exit door after a malfunctioning jet bridge reportedly left travelers trapped on board for up to an hour without air conditioning. A flight attendant pushed her away from the door as tensions rose.
In a TikTok posted by @tavi.dinero, a woman wearing a gray hoodie can be seen standing by the Frontier plane’s exit and shouting at the crew to open it. The video was recorded after the flight arrived at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Wednesday.
The 13-second clip shows a flight attendant wrapping his arms around the woman, moving her away from the exit and attempting to calm her.
As the attendant tried to restore order, the woman repeatedly yelled, “Open the door!” directly at him. Another passenger could be heard shouting, “Don’t put your hands on her!”
The flight attendant pleaded with the passengers to give him a moment to work out what was happening. Several people then moved toward him before the video ended.
“@Frontier Airlines in ATL COUNT Your Days !!!!! This happened Last night 10/07/26,” @tavi.dinero wrote in the caption.

The aircraft, an Airbus A321 operating from New Orleans, had just landed at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. According to Paddle Your Own Kanoo, however, passengers were unable to leave because a jet bridge had malfunctioned.
The passenger who uploaded the footage claimed that, after the plane reached the gate, the engines and lights were shut off, leaving the cabin without circulating air conditioning.

She said passengers spent roughly an hour inside the dark, increasingly stuffy aircraft, with some reportedly struggling to breathe and beginning to panic.
In the comments, the poster also alleged, “They let the first class off and cut the plane off and the pilots got off.”
“After 30 mins of sitting there with no air or water or light, one of the ladies started hyperventilating, passing out, and her body was shaking, completely unresponsive, and they still wouldn’t open the door,” she wrote.
In another comment, she said, “That girl is panicking bc her mother was unresponsive for 5-8 mins and they STILL DIDN’T OPEN THE DOOR. She was trying to beat on the door, not open it bc there was a Frontier worker standing on the other side of the door.”
A Frontier Airlines spokesperson told Paddle Your Own Kanoo that Flight 2052 arrived at Hartsfield-Jackson 20 minutes ahead of schedule and taxied to its assigned gate.
The jet bridge initially appeared to connect normally with the aircraft’s forward exit, allowing the first passengers to begin deplaning, the spokesperson said.
The bridge then malfunctioned and shifted out of alignment with the door. Flight attendants stopped the remaining passengers from leaving while maintenance crews worked to correct the issue, according to Frontier.
“Announcements were made to keep passengers apprised of what was happening,” the Frontier spokesperson told the outlet.
“Once the jet bridge was safely repaired and reconnected, deplaning continued. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and discomfort that arose during this process. We are continuing to seek further details.”
