CHICAGO () — A fourth beluga whale rescued from Canada has died at Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium, the institution confirmed Friday.
The announcement follows the recent death of another beluga that had long lived at the aquarium.
Last month, Shedd Aquarium released updated findings concerning the series of beluga whale deaths at its facility.
According to the aquarium, investigators found no indication that a communicable disease was responsible for the deaths.
