Susannah Constantine has made her position in the Beckham family feud unmistakable—by covering Victoria Beckham’s name on her sunglasses.
While joking around in the back of a black cab with her former What Not To Wear co-host Trinny Woodall, the pair turned their attention to Susannah’s oversized Victoria Beckham sunglasses.
“Darling, love your sunglasses,” Trinny said in a knowingly playful tone.
“Aren’t they great? They’re so comfortable,” Susannah replied. She then revealed that she had removed one detail from the frames—the designer’s name. “You can’t see that, can you, because I Tippexed it off,” she admitted with a laugh.
This is not the first time Susannah has shared her view on the Beckham family dispute. After Brooklyn broke his silence over the rift in a lengthy Instagram statement in January 2026, she openly declared herself to be #TeamBrooklyn.
“Can’t believe I’m posting this. But for the record I’m #teambrooklyn @brooklynpeltzbeckham,” she wrote. She added: “This young couple’s love for each other is one of the few things that is real, deep and un-manufactured.”
Her comments represented a firm vote of support for Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola, as they remain estranged from his parents.
Susannah’s intervention is especially notable because of her family’s close connection to the Beckhams: her daughter Esme and Brooklyn both have Sir Elton John as a godfather.

Sir Elton also appears to have quietly signalled where his sympathies lie. The singer and his husband, David Furnish, reportedly wined and dined Brooklyn and Nicola in Nice over the summer, but did not offer the same hospitality to their longtime friends David and Victoria Beckham.
Dazzling night at the museum for George and Amal
Amal Clooney dazzled in a glittering Gucci gold gown as she joined her husband, George, in welcoming A-list guests to their black-tie charity gala, The Albies, at London’s Natural History Museum. Friday’s gathering attracted Brad Pitt and his girlfriend Ines de Ramon, Vogue supremo Dame Anna Wintour and Oscar winner Dame Emma Thompson.

Noticeably absent, however, were the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Harry and Meghan invited the Clooneys to their 2018 wedding and later enjoyed a private stay at the couple’s villa in Italy, but the friendship is said to have cooled. A friend of the Sussexes told me Meghan was “at home” on Friday, while Harry was watching rugby in Leicester.
Being the niece of Princess Diana does not always open doors for twins Lady Eliza and Lady Amelia Spencer, whose aristocratic titles can sometimes be misunderstood. “We go through the airport in Cape Town and they think our first name is Lady,” Amelia told Vanity Fair.
Glow like Naomi!
Naomi Campbell famously replied “black don’t crack” when asked whether she used Botox. Now the supermodel is preparing to help others achieve a similarly youthful appearance through her own skincare brand.

The 56-year-old, pictured left, revealed details of the potentially lucrative venture—which is due to launch next year—in a conversation with former BBC journalist Zeinab Badawi at Vogue College of Fashion last week. Naomi also offered advice to students, telling them: “Always remember the people who were kind to you early in your career.” Wise words.
I imagine Doctor Who writer Russell T. Davies, 63, has been reminded of the age difference between him and Oliver Cole, now that his toyboy is returning to education. Australian Oliver, 27, is beginning a three-year BA in acting at London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
Oliver told me: “I can’t wait to start—acting is all I’ve ever dreamed of doing and this is going to be the best place to learn.” Although his acting CV remains limited, Russell has treated him to a trip in the Tardis on the Doctor Who set, prompting speculation that he could become the next Time Lord.
(Very) Modern Manners
Classical singer Katherine Jenkins is hoping to raise the sartorial bar in the West End, where some opera-goers still arrive in worn T-shirts and jeans. The 46-year-old Welsh mezzo-soprano has asked audiences attending her concert at the London Palladium this week to make more of an effort with their clothing.
A message emailed to ticket-holders says: ‘To make the evening extra special, Katherine is inviting guests to “dress to impress”. While there’s no formal dress code, there’ll be a special prize for the best dressed guest on the night, so why not make an occasion of it?’
