Hilary Swank has announced that she is expecting her third child at the age of 52.
The actress shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday with a playful video and the caption: “A lot of people have been asking what project I’m doing next, this one releases in December.”
Swank revealed her pregnancy through a TikTok dance trend that involves attaching neon glowsticks to dark clothing to form a glowing stick figure.
Her husband, Philip Schneider, 53, and their two children also joined in. The surprise became clear when a small glowstick figure appeared over Swank’s belly, signaling that she is expecting again.
In April 2023, Swank announced that she had welcomed twins: a son named Ohm and a daughter named Aya.
The Million Dollar Baby star shared the joyful news on Easter Sunday, posting a heartwarming photograph of herself holding the newborns while gazing toward a sunset.

The actress posted a playful video on Instagram on Wednesday with the caption: “A lot of people have been asking what project I’m doing next, this one releases in December”
“It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it. Happy Easter! Posting from pure Heaven,” the new mother wrote alongside the touching image.
Swank, who first revealed her pregnancy in October 2022, appeared cozy in a plush white bathrobe as she cradled the babies in her arms.
The twins are the first children for the Alaska Daily star and producer and her second husband, a “social venture entrepreneur.”
Following the announcement, Swank received an enthusiastic response from her more than 1 million Instagram followers.
Sharon Stone offered her congratulations, writing: “God bless honey This is the most extraordinary journey ever so happy for you all.”
“Congrats!!!!” added Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
Sophia Bush also celebrated the news, commenting: “They’re HERE,” alongside several white heart emojis.

Speaking to the Our News Outlet in 2020, Hilary discussed her innate maternal instincts when it came to her loved ones and animals: ‘I feel that I’m very maternal in the people that I care for and all the sentient being I have around me – my dogs, my horses or just the human beings.’
