Disturbing footage has revealed the panic inside a crowded Brisbane pub after a drive-by shooting left a 19-year-old woman critically injured and sent children running for safety. The two suspected gunmen remain at large.
The woman was shot in the face at Fitzys Loganholme Pub, south of Brisbane, just after 8pm on Saturday and later underwent surgery.
Three men were also injured when at least six rounds were fired from the front passenger side of a Mitsubishi. The vehicle was later abandoned and deliberately set on fire.
The pub was hosting the Logan City Titles Fight Night, drawing large numbers of young families to the venue.
Video from inside showed terrified spectators, including children, taking cover beneath the boxing ring as the gunfire erupted.
As some attendees rushed to assist the wounded, others stood by in shock while witnesses were comforted.
A 10-year-old boy was among those caught up in the frightening scene.
His father told the Courier Mail that the boy and his friends had gone outside for a walk when the shooting began.

A 19-year-old woman and three men were injured in the drive-by shooting during Saturday night’s boxing event at Fitzys Loganholme.

All four victims have since undergone surgery.

Several young children witnessed the terrifying shooting unfold.
“It could have been any of the kids. My son saw the man in front of him get shot,” the father said.
He said his son recalled seeing a glass being struck from a man’s hand before it shattered.
Another witness described walking into the foyer and finding a man who had been shot in the stomach, with blood covering the area.
Logan mayor Jon Raven said on Monday that the injured young woman had been taking part in the event and preparing for her bout.
Speaking to the Today show, Mr Raven said the Logan community had responded with overwhelming compassion, particularly toward the woman who remained critically injured.
“She was a fighter warming up for her bout,” he said.
“She was nowhere near the incident and was extraordinarily unlucky to be struck while inside the venue, completely separated from the others.”

The three male victims, aged 27, 37 and 38, remain in hospital in serious but stable condition.

The Mitsubishi believed to be linked to the shooting was reportedly found burning at Waterfront West soon after the attack.

Fighter Talia Preston, who was uninjured, said the shooting ‘broke me’

Police said they responded to reports of shots being fired from a vehicle outside a licensed premises in Loganholme, south of Brisbane, at 8.15pm
All three underwent surgery after being shot in the abdomen.
At least three men remained at large on Monday morning.
Police are yet to establish a motive for the targeted attack.
‘Establishing a motive for why this has taken place is one of our priorities… there appears to be a level of pre-planning,’ Detective Inspector Galpin told reporters.
He added that the critically injured 19-year-old woman was not an intended target.
Deception Bay Boxing Club coach Damien Smith, who had several fighters on the card for the Logan City Titles fight night, told Our News Outlet he does not believe the event was the target of the shooting.
‘I feel like a lot of people are jumping to conclusions about what happened – I don’t think boxing had anything to do with it,’ he said.
‘The fights were held at the back of the building, and everything happened in the front. We didn’t even know there was a shooting at first.’
Mr Smith said his fighters and their families were all safe.
Fighter Talia Louise Preston, from Caboolture, shared a heartbreaking statement on Facebook two hours after the shooting.
‘Tonight broke me. My heart hurts for everyone. For anyone who’s injured, I pray you pull through,’ she said.
It’s understood Ms Preston witnessed the teenager being shot and initially mistakenly believed she was dead.
Police urged anyone with information about the incident to contact Crime Stoppers.
