Neighbors of Brooke Hanlon told News Outlet that at least 15 law-enforcement vehicles gathered at her Pottersville Road home in Chester, New Jersey. The vehicles remained there until about 11 p.m., while her husband, Conor Hanlon, was seen speaking with officers Wednesday afternoon, according to residents.
Conor Hanlon has denied having any role in his wife’s death. No arrests have been announced.

The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office said it had no new information to release in the investigation. Hanlon is survived by her 1-year-old daughter.
The renewed law-enforcement presence came weeks after officials released Hanlon’s autopsy results. The examination classified her death as a homicide caused by “sharp force injuries,” confirming the description previously provided by the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office in June.

A 911 call obtained by News Outlet indicates that Hanlon’s husband was the first person to find her unresponsive. As the dispatcher explained how to administer CPR, he reported that there was “a laceration” on his wife’s body.

“I just found my wife (inaudible) CPR, I need CPR instructions,” Conor Hanlon said during the call.
“I need you here. I need you here immediately,” he added.

Months after Hanlon was found dead, neighbors told News Outlet that Conor Hanlon has regularly returned to the residence and spent nights there. Earlier, he had been splitting his time between Chester and the Boston area, where his family is based.
