Gainesville Man Charged After Indecent Exposure in Apartment Breezeway

Staff report

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Harry Lewis Sisco, 75, was arrested yesterday after authorities accused him of exposing himself in a breezeway at Forest View Apartments.

According to a Gainesville Police Department report, a resident contacted police after her doorbell camera allegedly captured an adult man and woman engaged in sexual activity in the open breezeway of the complex, located at 1000 SW 62nd Blvd. The incident reportedly occurred around 2:15 p.m. on October 29.

After reviewing the footage, an officer observed a man later identified as Sisco and a woman in the breezeway. The report alleges that Sisco exposed himself while the woman touched him, lifted her gown and rubbed against him. The recording reportedly ended while the woman was still touching him.

The officer noted that the breezeway is open to the public and can be seen from nearby apartments and the complex’s parking lot.

On November 5, the officer located Sisco at the apartment community. Authorities said he was wearing a hat and pants matching those seen on the man in the video. The woman later viewed the recording and reportedly confirmed that it showed her and Sisco.

After being advised of his Miranda rights, Sisco reportedly told police that he had known the woman for about six months and worked with her in food delivery. He later acknowledged that he exposed himself after she said, “Show me what you got,” and said he had hoped to have sex with her. He told investigators that she was not interested and that the encounter ended there. Sisco also acknowledged that both he and the woman had private apartments where sexual activity could have taken place, and that children live throughout the complex.

Sisco was charged with indecent exposure. He has no reported local criminal history, and Judge Adam Lee set bail at $20,000.

Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
