Binky Felstead has confirmed that she and her family have made a permanent move to Connecticut, relocating to the US to support her husband Max Darnton as his career takes him stateside.
The 36-year-old Made In Chelsea star is now living in America with sons Wolfie, five, and Wilder, three, as well as nine-year-old daughter India, whom she co-parents with her former co-star Joshua Patterson.
Binky had been hinting that the family would not be returning to the UK for the children’s new school year. She officially shared the news in an Instagram post on Sunday, revealing that their summer travels had led to a major new chapter.
Posing with her family by the coast, she wrote: ‘We’ve begun a new adventure as a family in America. After an incredible summer exploring the East Coast, we’re very happy to now call this place home.
‘There will still be plenty of trips back and forth across the pond for family, friends and work commitments. The last time I was in New York, I was filming MIC, with late nights and endless drama. I’m pleased to say there is so much more to this place.
‘The move has felt completely serendipitous and meant to be ✨. Max had been spending more and more time at his New York office, and we all loved visiting him there.

‘We also wanted to find a place where India could receive the specialist support she needs for her dyslexia. We were incredibly fortunate to find a wonderful school here, and the difference in just a few weeks has already been remarkable.
‘Watching her understand things in a way that suits her, and seeing her confidence begin to grow, has made the move feel completely worthwhile.
‘There is a real sense of positivity, motivation, ambition and drive here. Confidence, determination and achievement are celebrated, and we love that the children are being exposed to that environment.
‘The children have adapted far better than we could have imagined. Wolfie is incredibly happy, while Wilder is still charging around like a complete madman. Having the beach so close has made these early weeks feel like one long summer, with the children falling asleep in the back seat after sunny days by the sea.
‘It’s a huge change and certainly an adventure, but we’re thrilled about this next chapter. There are new places to explore, new experiences to enjoy and so many memories to create, with plenty of journeys home along the way.’
The announcement came shortly after Binky and her former partner Josh were praised by fans for demonstrating a healthy co-parenting relationship during a day out in the United States.
Josh travelled to America to spend time with his daughter India and also enjoyed a visit with Binky’s two younger sons, highlighting the friendly relationship between the former couple.

The reality star has left behind her £3.6million London home, which she bought and fully renovated in 2019, to follow her husband Max to the States.
Max recently revealed he has relocated fulltime to his New York office in order to further his business connections in the US, and will commute from a stunning New England family home.
In a June LinkedIn post for his global executive search and advisory firm Fredriks, Max told his followers: ‘I’m joining my teammates in New York full time.’
‘New York has felt like a second home for years. Exciting new chapter — for me, my family, and the business,’ he added.
Max has previously split his time between Fredriks’ Manhattan office and a base in London.
Binky along with the children have followed Max to the States, and Binky has recently been sharing snippets of her new life in her New England home on Instagram.
In July, Binky shared a post about her ‘VERY busy couple of weeks’ which featured a photo of herself collapsed on a huge pile of moving boxes stacked up in the hallway of her London house.
She then told fans she was flying solo with her children to the US and had ‘arrived to find Max had been very busy indeed – barbecue on, a large glass of my favourite champagne waiting (deserved), and every single new toy built and ready to go.’
Showing off her huge backyard, she added: ‘Three kids who couldn’t get outside fast enough and a garden they’ve already completely taken over.’
‘Just happened to land on the most celebratory day of the American calendar too.’
According to sleuth fans on Reddit, Binky and Max’s new Connecticut mansion has a $35K a month rental price.

The MIC favourite debuted the new reality show in 2024, which follows the lives and families of Binky, Lucy Watson and Rosie Fortescue.
The programme aired its first series in October 2024 and had a second edition in March of this year.
