David Beckham Unveils Another Lucrative Brand Partnership

David Beckham has been unveiled as Nespresso’s newest brand partner, marking another lucrative commercial move for the football icon.

The former England captain, 48, whose net worth is already estimated at £372 million, has teamed up with the premium coffee brand for a fresh campaign.

Beckham confirmed the Nespresso partnership on Instagram, appearing in a promotional video as he enjoyed one of the company’s best-known coffees.

Speaking about the collaboration, David said: ‘I’ve always loved Nespresso coffee.

‘Whether I am having a quiet moment at home with my family or preparing myself for a business meeting, the variety of blends is great, it’s so simple to make, and every cup tastes incredible.

Through the Nespresso campaign, Beckham will offer fans a more personal look at the authentic coffee moments he enjoys in everyday life.

The campaign will feature quieter moments carved out from his busy schedule, including Beckham making his favourite Nespresso coffees and recipes, while showing how a mindful pause — whether with family or alone — forms part of his morning routine.

Anna Lundstrom, CEO for Nespresso in the UK and ROI said: ‘David Beckham has always had an unforgettable style, taste and passion for creating elevated experiences which are many of the qualities of Nespresso.

‘We are delighted to be working with David to showcase his genuine love for the nations favourite drink and his journey of coffee discovery, as well as showing how even the routine coffee moments; with family, with friends, and ourselves, can make every day even more meaningful.’

This is just the latest in a long line of brand deals for David, with the sportsman seen posing for a campaign with Italian motorists Maserati in February.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that David earned a jaw-dropping £657,322 per week in 2022 – as he and his wife Victoria shared an £8million dividend from their business empire.

The power couple entered 2022 feeling flush after sales across their ventures surged following lockdowns – with the former Spice Girl’s fashion range making a loss.

Beckham Brand Holdings, which acts as the umbrella company for David’s investments and branding and Victoria’s fashion and beauty firm, revealed in accounts filed that profits for 2021 hit £19.1m, up from £11.6m a year earlier.

Most came from DB Ventures – the former England footballer’s brand is licensed to the likes of video games producer Electronic Arts, Adidas, watch company Tudor, whisky brand Haig Club and car manufacturer Maserati.

DB Ventures’ turnover shot up from £11.4million to £34million, while profits climbed from £12.9million to £24.1million.

Victoria’s arm, which has in the past been propped up by her husband’s success, saw losses fall from £8.7million to £5.9million as sales climbed 13 per cent to £40.9million.

Victoria Beckham Holdings, part-owned by the Beckhams and part-owned by London private equity firm Neo Investment Partners, kicked off a turnaround plan in 2021.
