A close associate of the singer D4vd has been taken into custody for failing to appear as a witness, according to court documents.
Neo Langston, a well-known streamer and reportedly a friend of D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, was apprehended on Thursday in Montana, as reported by TMZ. The arrest was the result of a collaborative effort between the Helena Police Department and the Los Angeles Police Department.
Authorities have yet to confirm if Langston’s arrest is linked to the investigation into the death of Burke’s alleged underage girlfriend, Celeste Rivas. However, the San Francisco Chronicle indicates that the arrest is connected to a “Los Angeles homicide investigation.”
Following his court appearance in Montana on Friday, Langston was transferred to the LAPD Metropolitan Detention Center. He is currently being held on a $60,000 bond.
As previously covered by CrimeOnline, Los Angeles police discovered the remains of Celeste Rivas on September 8, found in the trunk of Burke’s Tesla. This discovery has been central to the ongoing investigation.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Los Angeles police found Celeste’s remains on September 8, inside the trunk of Burke’s Tesla.
The vehicle had initially been parked near his former Hollywood Hills rental home, in the Bird Streets neighborhood. Police later found the vehicle at a tow yard in Hollywood, after residents contacted police about an abandoned car with a Texas license plate on September 6.
Celeste’s remains were found a day shy of her 15th birthday. Police are treated the case as a homicide.
