Did Pam Hupp Stab Herself In The Neck? Did She Commit Suicide?

Pam Hupp stabbed herself in the neck, right? After Betsy Faria was stabbed to death in 2011, she was charged with first-degree murder. After being held, she requested to go to the lavatory, where she stabbed her neck and wrists with a ballpoint pen in an apparent suicide attempt.

Pam Hupp is a well-known American killer who is currently serving a life sentence at Missouri’s “Chillicothe Correctional Center” for the 2016 murder of Louis Gumpenberger in her O’Fallon home.

Authorities were skeptical of Hupp’s claim that she shot Gumpenberger (who had mental and physical disabilities) in self-defense after he followed her into her house with a knife.

In 2019, Hupp’s tale became the subject of a popular true-crime podcast. Because The Thing About Pam is a movie based on a genuine tale, multiple viewers are eager to learn more about Pam.

Did Pam Hupp Stab Herself In The Neck? Did She Commit Suicide?

True crime fans have been riveted by Peacock’s dramatic thriller “The Thing About Pam.” Pam Hupp’s narrative and the crimes she’s involved in have enthralled true crime fans for years, first as episodes of NBC’s Dateline in 2014 and then as a popular podcast that launched in 2019.

Viewers are taken on a six-episode journey through Pam Hupp’s emotions, including her darkest moments, prompting fans to wonder if she tried suicide.

Pam Hupp was arrested and charged with the murder of Louis Gumpenberger on August 23, 2016, according to Wikipedia. According to St. Charles County associate prosecutor Phil Groenweghe, she asked to use the police station restroom after being arrested and then stabbed herself in the neck and wrists with a ballpoint pen in an apparent suicide attempt.

That’s why she was placed on suicide watch at the St. Charles County jail, and her booking photo showed her heavily bandaged.

In addition, Pamela was charged with the first-degree murder of Betsy Faria in 2021 while already serving a life sentence.

Pam Hupp’s Age – How Old Is She?

Pam attended “Riverview Gardens High School” in Dellwood, Missouri, a St. Louis suburb, where she grew up.
