A Missouri woman is facing allegations of making life-threatening remarks towards her two children during a live TikTok broadcast. According to police reports, the mother expressed her frustration by stating, “I’m tired of you,” and implied violence by saying it wouldn’t be “just a beating.”

Elena Lujan, 30, allegedly directed an alarming threat at her children, aged 3 and 7, during the early hours of Saturday. The probable cause document, filed in Cole County Circuit Court, quotes her saying, “Go to sleep before I f—ing kill you.”

The document further reveals that Lujan used offensive language, calling her children derogatory names. She reportedly blamed them for potentially tragic outcomes, saying one child would be the cause of both their deaths.

The statement alleges that Lujan told the children, “I’ll kill her and then you’ll be the reason why she’s dead. I’m sick of you and if I could kill you and keep your sister, I would.”

She purportedly added that the only reason her child was still alive was the legal consequences she would face, “The only reason you’re still alive is because if I kill your a— I’ll go to jail,” the police report states.

Authorities were alerted to the disturbing livestream on Saturday, leading officers to Lujan’s residence around 2 a.m., as detailed in the probable cause statement.

When they arrived, Lujan was allegedly drunk and passed out in the children’s room with an open bottle of tequila on the counter in the kitchen and broken glass on the floor.

“A 3-year-old child was lying on the couch in the living room,” the probable cause statement says. “A 7-year-old child was asleep in the defendant’s bedroom. It took several minutes to wake the defendant up due to her level of intoxication.”

Lujan was taken into custody and placed in the rear of a patrol vehicle, where she “spit through the open window” at an officer standing outside the door, according to cops. She refused to provide a breath sample to determine her BAC and was transported to a local police station.

“She made numerous threats to kill the victims,” the probable cause statement concludes. “She is the only adult living in the home.”

During the alleged livestream, police say Lujan can be heard yelling at one of her kids and telling them to say “yes ma’am.”

“While crying, the child says ‘yes ma’am,’” the probable cause statement states.

Lujan was charged with child abuse and taken to the Cole County Jail, where she is being held without bond. An arraignment is scheduled for Wednesday.
