David Flaget from Idaho was the Cannibalism victim who was killed and microwaved by Russell.

Talking about the relationship between the two people, it is reported that Russell and Flaget had disputes like run-ins several times but were not involved in a heavy conflict.

Russell apparently killed him on September 10 and the family of the elderly man filed a missing case as they were unable to contact him.

When the police raided the place, they found tied duct tapes which hint that the old man was detained for some time before he was murdered.

On further search, the bloody microwave and many other shreds of evidence that concluded the cutting of Flaget’s body parts were located.

James was first taken into custody by the officers in October but he was sent to Idaho Security medical program on October 5 after the judge declared him unfit for trial.

He will go through the court hearing on December 28.

David Flaget’s family was aware of the run-ins that he had with Russell while their identities are undisclosed.

David opened up about his dispute with James to his family members and they were also aware of the danger that Russell possessed to the man.

However, they were unable to act in time which eventually led to the happenings of the incident.

As things stand, the real names and other personal identity details about other family members of Flaget are not known.
