Oklahoma Teen Stabs Older Brother to Death in Argument Over Video Game

A 19-year-old man from Oklahoma finds himself in custody following the fatal stabbing of his older brother on Sunday.

The incident unfolded when William Spencer and his 25-year-old brother, Nicholas Spencer, were engrossed in a video game session that escalated into a heated argument, according to KFOR.

Oklahoma City Police Master Sgt. Gary Knight described the event as “very tragic.”

“These were two brothers simply playing video games,” Knight remarked. “One of them got furious over the game, lost his temper, and ended up fatally stabbing the other.”

William Spencer dialed 911 and stayed at the scene afterward, as confirmed by police Master Sgt. Rob Robertson.

“The person who called reported that they had just stabbed their brother,” Robertson stated. “When officers arrived, they discovered a male suffering from severe stab wounds.”

Nicholas Spencer was pronounced dead at a hospital.

His brother has been charged with first degree murder and is being held on a $10 million bail, jail records show.
