The grandmother of an 11-year-old Oklahoma girl who gave birth to her stepdad’s child has been arrested.
KJRH reported that on Friday, Michelle Justus, 53, was the third person to be arrested on six counts of neglect of a child charges.
Previously, CrimeOnline reported that a young victim gave birth at home on August 16 without receiving any medical aid. Her parents, Dustin Walker, 34, and Cherie Walker, 33, insisted they were unaware of her pregnancy.
Justus previously said her daughter claimed the father was a 12-year-old boy and that the children just “got curious.”
The Walkers were initially charged with child neglect when they were arrested last week, but the charges were changed on Monday.
DNA analysis showed that Dustin Walker was a 99.9 percent match for being the father of the newborn, as Assistant District Attorney Janet Hutson reported to 2 News.
Dustin Walker was then charged with child sexual abuse, and his wife was charged with enabling child sexual abuse
The parents are also charged with six counts of child neglect concerning the 11-year-old and her five siblings, aged 2, 4, 6, 7, and 9. Authorities found these children “living in deplorable conditions,” prompting their removal from the family’s home as highlighted in court filings.

“This child is traumatized,” Hutson told KOTV. “She’s been through a horrific ordeal.”
“Not only was this young girl impregnated, but she also had to give birth at home without any medical support. This situation will impact her for the rest of her life.”
