A Florida woman was arrested after she allegedly assaulted her boyfriend and then threw his clothes in a pile before pouring bleach all over them.

Tocarra Moore, aged 41, is facing charges of domestic battery and criminal mischief. According to a probable cause arrest affidavit obtained by Law&Crime, the victim mentioned that he woke up around 9 a.m. on Monday to find Moore hitting him on his back at their residence in St. Petersburg. Police later observed a noticeable injury on his shoulder blade, which they say supports the accusation of assault.

The boyfriend explained that he chose not to contact the authorities and instead left the house to “de-escalate the situation,” as stated in the affidavit. He reached out to his child’s mother to come and pick him up nearby. However, Moore reportedly found them and confronted them in a Walgreens parking lot. While the victim attempted to step between the two women, Moore allegedly pushed him. Officers stated that surveillance footage captured the incident.

Returning to her home, Moore took several pieces of the victim’s clothing, suspecting him of infidelity, the police said. She allegedly instructed one of her children to record a video of her as she poured bleach over the clothes. Moore subsequently sent this video to the victim, who shared it with law enforcement, providing them with evidence to charge her with criminal mischief. The police estimated the value of the damaged clothing to be between $2,500 and $3,000.

Cops arrested Moore and took her to the Pinellas County Jail, where she has since posted a $5,500 bond. Her next court date is not listed.
