Records Show 29 Police Calls In 3 Years to Missing Harmony Montgomery’s Last Home

Police responded to more than two dozen calls about the New Hampshire home where Harmony Montgomery last lived, ranging from animal and nuisance complaints to domestic disputes and child welfare.

The Manchester home has been the scene of three days of searching by an FBI Evidence Response Team, which wrapped up its work Monday afternoon.

Harmony, who was 5 years old when she was last seen in 2019, was reported missing by her biological mother in November when she was unable to contact the little girl’s father, Adam Montgomery, who had custody, as CrimeOnline previously reported.

Both Adam Montgomery and his estranged wife, Kayla Montgomery, have been arrested. Adam, who has claimed he dropped Harmony off at her mother’s and hasn’t seen her since, is being held without bail on a charge that he assaulted the girl in front of other family members in 2019. Kayla is charged with welfare fraud for allegedly receiving benefits for Harmony after she disappeared.

WMUR reported that police records so 29 calls about the house where the family lived in Manchester from 2018 to 2021, often calls made by neighbors. The Department of Children Youth and Families was involved twice in August 2019, and Manchester Police filed a formal complaint to the agency the following month citing “clutter and empty food containers in every room.” The report said, however, that “all three children appeared clean and fed.”

The reports in August said that the family was using a generator for electricity but that there was food and everyone appeared healthy.

Four of the calls to the house were made by Adam Montgomery, for domestic disputes and a missing vehicle.

As CrimeOnline reported, investigators brought in specialized equipment to the home over the weekend, including a ground heater that thaws soil to make digging easier. Aerial views showed investigators digging a large hole in the back yard.

The investigators haven’t said if they’ve found anything during their search at the house. They did say that the current owners of the home are not connected with the case.

Harmony is described as about 4 feet tall and  50 pound, with blond hair and blue eyes. She is blind in her right eye and should be wearing glasses. The most recent photographs available were taken when she was 5 years old.

A $94,000 reward for information on Harmony’s whereabouts has been being offered. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police tipline at 603-203-6060.
