In a riot that injured around 30 people, Shaffer is identified as the only dead victim of the shooting until now. He was 23 years old and originally from Jacksonville.

Dumas Car Shooting Injures 28: Is Anyone Arrested?
The Dumas Car Shooting resulted in the injury of 28 persons, one of them died. It is distressing to witness such an incidence during a joyous occasion such as a children’s fundraiser.
