A Wisconsin woman is facing a disorderly conduct charge after authorities say a family dispute erupted in the wake of her grandmother’s death.

Karin Andrews, 47, was charged Tuesday with one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, several months after an alleged confrontation at her 61-year-old uncle’s home in Salem Lakes, Wisconsin. According to a criminal complaint reviewed by Law&Crime, the incident reportedly happened in December 2025, shortly after the uncle’s mother — Andrews’ grandmother — died inside the residence. The uncle contacted police on Jan. 5, roughly a month after his mother’s death.

Investigators said the uncle told officers he had video from inside the home capturing the alleged encounter. When police reviewed the footage, they reportedly saw Andrews arguing with her uncle and shouting, “Are you f—ing kidding me?” The complaint says her uncle could be heard “calmly” asking her to leave before Andrews allegedly “lunged” toward him and appeared to spit in his direction.

Andrews was not taken into custody at the jail, but prosecutors filed the disorderly conduct charge against her. She is expected to make her next court appearance on Aug. 6.
