Nollywood actor, Okey Bakassi mourns the sudden loss of his veteran colleague John Okafor, famously known as Mr Ibu in tears during a voice-over tribute.

Mr Ibu passed on some days ago to cardiac arrest following elevated blood pressure after undergoing a series of surgeries before his death.

In a tribute posted on Instagram, Okey Bakassi shared a video compilation featuring photographs and messages about Mr Ibu’s passing, accompanied by a sombre voiceover.

In the video, Okey expressed his disbelief at the news of Mr Ibu’s demise due to how tragic and shocking it hit him.

He recounted visiting Mr Ibu at the hospital during his illness, where despite his condition, Mr Ibu managed to lighten the atmosphere with his characteristic humor and antics.

“It has been very difficult to process….life happens. Rest in peace, my brother and friend, John Okafor,” he captioned the video.
