Teresa Palmer has welcomed baby number five with husband Mark Webber.

The Australian actress, 39, shares Bodhi Rain, 11, Forest Sage, eight, Poet Lake, five, and Prairie Moon, three, with Mark. 

She is also a dedicated stepmother to Mark’s teenage son Isaac Love, whom he shares with his ex, SMILF actress Frankie Shaw.

Teresa took to Instagram on Saturday to share the joyous news with her 1.2 million followers, posting a series of adorable snaps. 

One photo showed the cherubic newborn fast asleep, lovingly cradled by the hands of her family. 

Another touching black and white image captured a beaming Teresa, nestled close to her adorable bub.

She also shared photos of her newborn’s siblings happily getting to know their new sister.

Mark, too, looked proud as punch as he gazed happily over his growing family.

Captioning the heartwarming photos, Teresa revealed that bub arrived on Friday while also sharing her unique name. 

 ‘Welcoming our baby GIRL!! Lotus Bloom Palmer,’ she wrote.

She made her entrance early yesterday morning, accompanied by the sunrise, following a wonderful home water birth. Now, they have three daughters and three sons. It all feels like a dream. Born on September 19th, weighing 8lb 2oz or 3.7kg, at 5:40am.

Teresa was also full of praise for her birthing team who gave her ‘the birth of our dreams.’  

Our birthing team supported us in every possible way. We are endlessly thankful to the most incredible team – Libby Lamb, the lovely Julie Schiller (this marks our fourth birth together!), and our birth photographer and doula, Jerusha Sutton.

‘I felt so strong, at ease and empowered in your care and it led to us having the birth of our dreams.’

The announcement was warmly received with a flood of congratulations from friends and followers. Among the well-wishers was Lindy Klim, who remarked, ‘Oh, how beautiful. Congratulations.’

Model Megan Gale also jumped in with a similar: ‘Just gorgeous. Congratulations beautiful fam.’

AFL WAG Lauren Brant also could not hide her excitement, adding: ‘So happy for you, amazing mama.’

The happy news comes after the Lights Out star revealed she suffered a miscarriage three months after falling pregnant.

The star shared a heartbreaking video on Instagram in May last year, which documented the moment she found out she was expecting another baby.

Mark and Teresa wed in 2013, while the actress was still pregnant with their first child. 

On the eve of their ninth wedding anniversary in 2022, Teresa shared that she hoped to welcome more children into her family. 

The Hollywood star admitted she wants at least three more kids and is hoping she falls pregnant with twins.

‘Twins run in the family. I might get two for one next time,’ she said in an interview with The Daily Telegraph.

Teresa said she told Mark on their first date that she wanted six kids.

‘He said he also wanted six,’ she added. ‘So I am holding him to that number.’

Teresa said the pressures of raising five kids means juggling the demands of her career.

‘I don’t think I’ve slept properly in about eight years,’ she joked.
