New kind of penis enlargement surgery will add inches, claims the doctor set to offer it... but there is a gruesome detail that may make some think twice

Throughout history, men have continually sought methods to augment their masculinity.

In the 1500s, Brazilian tribesmen believed that allowing venomous snakes to bite them would increase their size, while in Peru, some resorted to tying stones in an attempt to lengthen themselves.

As time progressed, various techniques emerged, including pumps, implants, and filler injections, which, despite potential dangers, promised to add an inch or two.

Introducing a novel approach, a New Jersey clinic claims it’s advancing male enhancement by using fat cells from deceased donors to increase size.

Dr. Stuart Diamond, a urologist based in New Jersey, is at the forefront of this pioneering procedure, as revealed by the Daily Mail.

This innovative technique employs a new and debated class of fillers derived from donated human fat cells, which have recently gained traction in cosmetic medicine for their ability to offer subtle body improvements.

Doctors say the fillers may last longer than traditional medical-grade fillers and are cheaper than procedures using a patient’s own fat.

Dr Diamond plans to use the injections as an update to his existing procedure – the Diamond XL 360 – which uses carefully placed filler injections to increase penile girth by around one to two inches.

Within weeks, he plans to offer the treatment free to two or three patients while monitoring the results.

He is seeking volunteers in their mid-40s or older, regardless of penis size, who are willing to undergo the procedure.

Results should be visible almost immediately, although patients will be monitored for at least three months afterwards. Dr Diamond expects the increase in size to be similar to that achieved with his current filler-based treatment.

The clinic is still recruiting patients and plans to advertise the trial on Instagram in the coming weeks.

The procedure will use alloClae, an FDA-approved filler derived from donated human fat and manufactured by New Jersey company Tiger Aesthetics.

The donor fat, taken from the abdomens of dead bodies, is purified and processed under strict protocols for safety and biocompatibility to remove cells and DNA to prevent rejection.

Common, mild risks include swelling, bruising, or tenderness, according to official sources.

‘We are the first clinic in the US – in the world – to use this filler for this surgery,’ Dr Diamond said. ‘We are excited to use it in the penis and see how it works.’

Fat transfer procedures to enlarge the penis have existed for years, but they are expensive and time-consuming. Patients must first undergo liposuction so fat can be removed, processed and then reinjected into the penis.

This is known as an autologous graft.

Ready-made fat fillers bypass that process, reducing costs and treatment time.

It is also seen as an option for people who are very lean and so don’t have enough fat to provide an autologous graft.

Doctors say they may also last longer – maintaining volume for between 12 months and several years, compared with roughly three to six months for many standard fillers.

The FDA has approved fillers and fat taken from a patient’s own body for cosmetic use, according to the American Urological Association.

But using them to enlarge the penis is considered off-label, meaning the treatment has not been specifically cleared or rigorously tested for that purpose.

The FDA has never approved any procedure designed to increase penis size.

A 2012 review covering 355 penile fat injections found they significantly increased resting length, stretched length and circumference.

But researchers also reported complications including pain, scarring, penile contracture and wound problems.

There has also been at least one reported death – a 30-year-old man who suffered a fat embolism, in which fat enters the bloodstream and blocks circulation, after undergoing the procedure.

Dr Diamond said the idea came after hearing that the same cadaver-derived fillers were being used for labial enhancement procedures in women who had lost significant weight and wanted a fuller appearance.

If the trial is successful, he plans to add the treatment permanently to the clinic’s menu of penile enhancement procedures.

While penis enlargement with alloClae hasn’t yet been carried out, it has been used in order body-enhancing procedures – and there are reports online from patients claiming to have experienced ‘major issues’ after being injected.

One woman, posting on Reddit, claimed she had alloClae injected into both breasts to enhance their size, but later developed multiple cysts that were often painful.

All fat-grafting procedures carry a risk of fat necrosis – where some of the transferred tissue does not survive after injection.

When this happens, the fat cells die and are gradually reabsorbed by the body, sometimes leaving behind lumps, cysts or areas of hardening.

The woman said doctors told her the cysts may have been linked to this process. She wrote: ‘The presumptive diagnosis is that the cysts were caused by fat necrosis from the alloClae.’

In the opening post, she added: ‘I have since talked to another plastic surgeon about their experience with alloClae to the breasts, and I’ve heard that it’s a pretty mixed bag, with a decent proportion of patients having a bad experience.’

Dr Diamond estimates the penis enlarging procedure would cost between $8,000 and $15,000, depending on the amount of filler used.

‘I’m always looking for new innovations,’ he said, ‘and new ways to enhance my procedure. I saw this filler come out and thought it was something we could offer too.’
