Hot Takes: Kwanzaa What?! Leftist Politicians Virtue-Signal for a 'Holiday' Nobody Really Cares About
Share this @internewscast.com

It’s Friday, December 26th: For Orthodox Christians, this day marks the second day of Christmas, leading up to the Feast of Theophany. In the UK and Canada, it’s Boxing Day. Meanwhile, progressive Democrat politicians are kicking off the first day of Kwanzaa, sharing warm Kwanzaa greetings with their constituents, many of whom might not have a strong connection to the holiday.

This practice seems to be popular primarily among politicians from blue states. While much of America is relishing leftovers, enjoying holiday gifts, or diving into post-Christmas sales, these politicians are busy engaging in what some might see as political correctness and signaling virtue.

Take Oregon Governor Tina Kotek, for instance. Despite a rather understated acknowledgment of Christmas—a holiday with ancient roots—she made sure to issue an enthusiastic message for Kwanzaa, a celebration that has been recognized for less than seven decades.

Go figure.

The equally melanin-challenged Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers took the time to make a video to explain what Kwanzaa is all about. If the people supposedly celebrating don’t know by now, they’re in serious trouble.

Not to be left out, Governor Tampon Tim wants you to forget he oversaw the massive Minnesota Somali fraud long enough to wish you a Happy Kwanzaa.

The ratios on this X post are simply glorious.

Former Democrat North Carolina governor, Roy Cooper, is trying to rake in those votes to win Thom Tillis’ Senate seat. Yeah, good luck with that.

The Babylon Bee knows exactly what’s up.

Of course, there are outliers to this meme. One would be Mayor of Chicago Brandon Johnson, who is not melanin-challenged, but is definitely challenged in other areas — like his approval rating.

Nor is it limited to the left. He’s definitely not progressive or woke, but Orange County, California D.A. Todd Spitzer sends his Kwanzaa greetings, and has done it over his two terms in office. Can you say, “HR compliance, boys and girls?”  <insert *eyeroll* emoji>

Kwanzaa was invented in 1966 by Africana Studies professor and chair, Ron Karenga aka “Dr. Maulana Karenga,” when he headed up the department at California State University, Long Beach. We cannot warn you enough to stop ignoring what comes out of California, because it always comes back to bite the entire nation in one form of another.

Karenga admitted to the joke of this holiday in 1978.

“I created Kwanzaa,” laughed M. Ron Karenga like a teen-ager who’s just divulged a deeply held, precisions secret.

“People think it’s African. But it’s not. I wanted to give black people a holiday of their own. So I came up with Kwanzaa. I said it was African because you know black people in this country wouldn’t celebrate it if they knew it was American. Also, I put it around Christmas because I knew that’s when a lot of bloods (blacks) would be partying!”

The overwhelmingly black audience at Howard University’s recent National Conference of Afro-American writers broke into laughter. The joke was on them – and millions of other black Americans who taught Kwanzaa, the seven-day festival of harvest, was African.

Since he created the holiday in 1966, numerous Afro-Americans have come to celebrate the occasion between Dec. 22 and Jan. 1 as an alternative to Christmas.

Five years before this 1978 interview, Karenga was serving time in prison for assault, false imprisonment, and the torture of two women. You can barely find any news coverage about this crime, but it did indeed happen. So, it is on brand that this manufactured holiday and its founder are lauded and celebrated… by the same leftists that want biological men with mental illness infiltrating women-only spaces, and support the kidnapping and mutilation of children.

Yet, thanks to liberal professors and leftist politicians who continue to peddle this fraud and pander to those amorphous masses commemorating it, we are interrupted in our enjoyment of our lovely Christmas holiday, if only to mock it for another year.

Excuse me while I drink some more eggnog, and dive into my Christmas leftovers.
