Events are back running again in sunny Singapore, after long respite thanks to the pandemic. On 5 April, LUXUO teamed up with The Glenrothes to reconvene with some of our friends and readers at Malts whisky bar to share in a night all about knowledge, whisky and fellowship.
The night kicked off with a quick address by Heart Media’s CEO Olivier Burlot, before Mark Tay, brand ambassador for The Glenrothes took guests through an exceptional whisky pairing session. Over the course of the whisky pairing, Mark also shared about the Glenrothes brand, its history as well as where the brand is headed in the future. He took the guests through three expressions of The Glenrothes — the 12 Year Old, the Whisky Maker’s Cut, and the 18 Year Old — paired with various dishes, from a wild mushroom pizza to a medium rare steak, seared to perfection.
After the delightful conversation and drams of whisky Jasper Sim, Marketing Manager at Heart Media, took guests through a quick-fire trivia session that tested their knowledge on the Glenrothes brand as well as LUXUO.
