GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — Tragedy struck early Saturday morning when a man lost his life in a house fire, according to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office. Firefighters from multiple local departments rushed to a residence on Goddard Drive after receiving an emergency call around 1 a.m. The caller, who had been startled awake by the incident, reported the fire. Additional details were not immediately available.
