During a campus event in Utah, conservative activist Charlie Kirk was tragically assassinated while addressing an audience. Known for his efforts in galvanizing youth support for President Trump, Kirk was considered a prominent figure in conservative circles. Following the incident, the FBI Director reported that an individual previously detained has now been released. NBC News’ Liz Kreutz provides coverage of the event.
