Wanted: Church paying the price after suspect cashes fraudulent checks

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Shreveport Police Department is reaching out to the community for help in finding Ebony Wilson, aged 49, who is currently wanted on a forgery charge.

The case emerged after a Baptist church in the area noticed some irregularities in their financial transactions.

Upon investigation, detectives discovered that Wilson allegedly forged and cashed three checks, resulting in significant financial losses for the church.
